Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Juan gained experience in many art forms throughout his elementary and secondary education from playing in jazz combos to acting in Shakespeare adaptations.
He got immersed in Computer Animation at the age of 10 and began working professionally at 17. He studied animation by himself during his college years and graduated as a Film Director at FUC (Fundación Universidad del Cine).
He moved to the USA in 2018 to work in the film and animation industry. As an animation generalist, he worked in many productions taking diverse roles from story development to post-production.
In 2024 he was selected for the Latino Film Institute's Animation Directors Fellowship sponsored by Netflix for his short-film "Remember the Rats".
